Wedding #5 — September 24th 2022
We encourage every couple that chooses to get married at Stevenson Estate to bring in personal touches to truly transform the space into their own. It’s incredible how we can provide a backdrop for each couple and every one can create their vision. That’s exactly what Kelsey and David did. They decorated the space with warm toned florals & bridesmaid dresses. Created a beautiful display of apple cider local to Greenbank. Built a custom seating chart made out of terracotta pots full of succulents. Both the father of the bride and the father of the groom brought their old vintage cars. They served their brews out of a canoe for their cocktail hour – a true reflection of Kelsey & David’s love for adventure and the outdoors. They exchanged private vows along the laneway in an intimate setting – just the two of them. All of these personal touches were a true reflection of the Croxalls. All of which made their special day feel that much more special.
Enough about the decor. What truly sets each wedding apart is the energy and the people. The Croxall’s hosted the largest wedding to date with 250 guests for the ceremony & dinner. We refer to David as the Mayor of Greenbank as both the Croxalls and the Brethours know everyone. An additional 50 guests joined for the late night dance party. Every single person who attended Mr. & Mrs. Croxalls wedding day brought the best energy! A beautiful bridal party consisting of ten bridesmaids and six groomsmen helped during set up, tear down, and all throughout the wedding day itself. The most stunning flower display surrounded the doorway to the original barn created by the bride's very talented family friends – would you ever have known that they don’t do flower installations as a profession? It’s so beautiful and has inspired so many brides since then to create a beautiful display surrounding that entryway.Their wedding was created by a team of family and friends. The amount of love and support surrounding Kelsey & David is remarkable.
Today we are wishing Kelsey & David a very happy one year wedding anniversary! We hope that your first year as husband and wife has brought you so much happiness! We are so happy to have seen you back at Stevenson Estate for our annual sled race, and we hope that you continue to come back for many more years to come! Thank you so much for choosing Stevenson Estate! We wish you a lifetime of love, health and adventure!
